Tommy Garnett

President/CEO

Tommy Garnett, President and CEO of Garnett Component Sales, Inc. brings 24 years of experience owning and operating a professional manufacturer representative agency in the Southeast, USA. His primary area of focus has been highly engineered custom mechanical components to the O.E.M community. Mr. Garnett has obtained the CSP (Certified Sales Professional) and CPMR (Certified Professional Manufacturers Representative ) certifications .His goal, and that of the agency, is to provide a value-added technical and consultative resources to our clients enabling them to achieve higher efficiencies and profitability. Originally from Lynchburg, VA, Tommy has been a native of North Carolina since 1984 when he attended North Carolina State University and studied business management. Prior to becoming a manufacturer’s representative Mr. Garnett served as a golf professional and was a member of the PGA of America. He currently resides in Wake Forest, NC with his wife and two children.

Angela Garnett

Angela Garnett, Sales and Operations Manager, brings 10 Years of business to business Sales Experience in the Staffing Industry to O.E.M. manufacturers. Most recently, Regional Sales Manager for a $2B company covering NC, TN, VA, MD. Prior, 10 years Retail Management experience. Originally from Richmond, VA area now residing in Wake Forest, NC.

Jenny Bryan

Operations Manager

Jenny Bryan has a Master of Public Administration degree from N.C. State University and has worked in the past in a leadership capacity with several nonprofit organizations. Bryan is also very familiar with Garnett Component Sales, having been a valuable member of the team from 2004-2011 while working part time and raising her family.

John Davis

Trained as a Mechanical Engineer, a US Army Veteran, and a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, JT has worked with OEM's across multiple industries for over 25 years with a particular focus in machined components and electric motor applications. John has worked in manufacturing, quality control, marketing and sales at Reliance Electric Company, Rockwell Automation, and Linamar Corporation. A native South Carolina, JT, his wife and son moved to Greenville from an assignment in Germany in 1998.

Mark Snyder

Technical Sales Consultant / Branch Manager

Mark Snyder has over 21 years’ experience selling custom applications to Fortune 500 companies in the Southeast. Prior to joining Garnett Component Sales Inc, he spent 19 years with SCA-Tuscarora, a large custom foam molder of components and packaging, most recently as the Regional Director of the South. Originally from Ohio, he moved to Atlanta in 1991 and now lives in Duluth, GA with his wife and two sons.


Artie Smith

Technical Sales Consultant / Branch Manager

ARTIE HAS 25 PLUS YEARS EXPERIENCE AS a highly accomplished Sales and Marketing professional previously representing Caterpillar, Bobcat, and John Deere. Artie has a wide range of experience servicing and representing the OEM community across several different and unique manufacturing platforms. An extensive background in customer service coupled with a keen business acumen are the pillars of his success as a sales professional. Artie is a native of Charlotte, North Carolina, a North Carolina State University graduate, and has recently relocated to Raleigh North Carolina after spending the previous 15 years in Dallas Texas. Artie is a golfer, a Labrador Retriever enthusiast, a life long fan of Wolfpack athletics, and the Dallas Cowboys.

Ricardo Malacara

Ricardo Malacara has an International Trade undergraduate degree from ITESM with an MBA from Central Michigan University. He has worked for over 15 years in the electronic and mechanical manufacturing areas in Guadalajara. Over these years, his areas of experience have been in operations, sales and materials management. This combination helps him better understand customers’ needs. He has worked for Fortune 500 companies as well as startup companies so he understands what it takes to grow and keep a customer.

Carolina Moreno

GCS Sales Consultant
Guadalajara, Mexico

Carolina Moreno has worked for over 10 years at Contract Manufacturers in Monterrey and Guadalajara in different areas such as Purchasing, Sourcing and Customer Service, which gave her experience in VMI, localization and supplier development. She also completed Six Sigma Green Belt Training and World Class Manufacturing courses which she applied in Supply Chain Management. She also worked in sourcing for GE Healthcare and was in charge of locating and developing medical suppliers in the Latin America Region. Her last role was as a Program Manager for accounts such as Lucent, Sun Microsystems and IBM, as well as NPI projects being introduced into Mexico.

John Evans

Technical Sales Representative
Maryville, TN

John Evans has a diverse background in manufacturing, product development and sales. Previous employers include Aeroquip Corporation, Gates Corporation, Arden Fasteners, Bollhoff Fasteners and Meco Corporation. He is trained in continuous improvement principles and has a working knowledge of lean manufacturing concepts. His work has included managing new product development projects from concept to commercialization.

His sales success has been built upon his ability to build strong relationships with customers by providing excellent service. That service begins with carefully listening to customer's needs. From there he thoroughly analyzes the requirements and assesses the potential solutions. Then he develops a plan to meet the customer's needs and presents the plan. He follows through with delivery of the proposed solution and then evaluates the results to identify continuous improvement opportunities.

John is from Morganton, NC and attended North Carolina State University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. He currently lives in Maryville, TN with his wife and son. His daughter lives in Orlando, FL where she attends the University Of Central Florida in pursuit of a Doctorate Degree in Physics.

Join enjoys woodworking and vegetable gardening. He contributes to his community by working with the homeless to help them find jobs, housing and health care.

Bobby Moore
